Tedric Harwell –– Tedric has been with Legacy since 2011 as he was one of two original founders to the program. Tedric acts in dual roles within the program which include but are not limited to; boys head coach, director of speed/agility training, member of the board of directors, etc… Tedric brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the program as he was an elite athlete throughout his career. Tedric was a high school standout in football, track and basketball at Elkhart Central High School, where he set numerous (17) records including but not limited to: rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, all-purpose yards, points scored, and total points. Tedric was also an intrical member of the State Runner up team for Basketball in 1999. Following high school Tedric earned DI scholarships for all three sports (track, football, and basketball) but chose the University of Cincinnati to play football. While at UC, Tedric was a starter and captain. While at UC, Tedric earned respect both on the field and off. Tedric was both a running back and defensive back under Rick Minter & Mark Dantonio. He was also honored with the prestigious Wilma Rudolph Student Athlete Achievement Award from the National Athletic Academic Advisors Association (N4A) for overcoming obstacles to achieve academic success. Tedric now owns is own business’ in Legacy Sports Inc. and Legacy Training LC. He has four children, Laiklynn (1), Elijah (8), Terrence (5), and Tiara (12).

Sara Piepho –– Sara has been with Legacy since 2011 as she was one of two original founders to the program. Sara acts in dual roles within the program which include but are not limited to; Elite High School team head coach, director of basketball operation, member of the board of directors, etc… Sara brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and experience to the program as she was an elite athlete throughout her career. As a standout point guard throughout her high school career in Michigan she gained national attention leading her to earning a full ride basketball scholarship to the University of Cincinnati. Following her college career Sara followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the DI coaching ranks as an Assistant coach at Detroit Mercy & Eastern Kentucky University. Sara now owns her own business’ in Legacy Sports Inc. and Legacy Training LC.

Mike Murray– Mike has a dual role within Legacy. Mike excels at coaching one of Legacy’s top High School Exposure Teams as well as acts as Director of Scouting. MIke is a very decorated and experienced coach with over 14 years of high school and middle school coaching experience that includes high school regional championships, regional runner up placements, and state quarterfinal teams. Mike has helped to several players continue playing ball at the college level. Mike is a high school science teacher. Mike has a wife Julie and two daughters Kylee and Sydney.

Abby Friend – Abby has played an intrical role in helping solidify the Legacy name locally, regionally, and nationally. Abby joined Legacy during its inaugural season in 2011 when she took the helm of a solid class of 2018’s. Abby brings extensive knowledge and experience to the program. Before joining Legacy, Abby was the varsity head coach at Lawrenceburg High School in Indiana for three years. Prior to leading the tiger’s varsity girls, she was a five year JV coach. Abby is currently the Head Varsity Coach at Rising Sun High School in Indiana. Abby is a 4th grade teacher in Rising Sun. She has a husband, Ryan, and a daughter, Carrigan.

David Hinton – David has been an intrical part of the Legacy program since its establishment in 2011. David has taken the helm of multiple Legacy teams and has produced positive results each season David’s success throughout the history of the program has lead him into dual roles within Legacy; board member and head coach. Prior to getting involved with Legacy, Dave was the 6th grade coach for Beechwood High School and head varsity assistant coach under Todd Houston. Presently, Dave has moved to Cooper to take on the Freshman coaching position under Nicole Levandusky. In 1985, Dave took the helm for the Beechwood High School Boys team. Dave is a 1985 graduate of Morehead State University. Dave is married to Mitzi Hinton and they have three children: Tiffany, Lydia, Myles.

Becca Chase – Becca joined the Legacy staff in the spring of 2015 and took the program by storm. Becca has earned the respect of all Legacy staff, parents, and players. Becca has become one of our most requested coaches. Becca’s passion for the game is unmatched, as well is her thirst for knowledge. Becca has quickly become an intrical part of the Legacy staff. During the 2015 Spring season she assisted all High School Exposure teams. During the fall season she was highly sought after as a high school coach but assumed the role of assistant varsity coach at Beechwood. While helping at Beechwood, Becca also actively participated as a coach in the Developmental league, was the head coach of with the 3rd grade girls team Premier High School Team. Becca is currently in college at Wilmington College in Ohio and is expected to graduate in the fall of 2017 with a Bachelors in Education.
